NX7.5 – Hole, slot, groove
Tags: Hole, slot, groove
This lesson will focus on the different kind of hole types you can make directly in NX. We will also have a look at the different kinds of slots and grooves you can make. These are not very important tools for the average CAD-user, but it is nice to know about them, and how they work.
Subtitles can be activated using the CC button in the player.
After this lesson, do the exercises below (1-7)
Model the figure below. Set your own thickess for the extrude. Try to add the constraints manually for the sketch
Model the figure below. Try to use Slot > Dove Tail instead of sketch for the lower slot.
Model the figure below. Save the result so that you can find it later, given that you will be using the geometry in another exercise.
How you do this move in 1:40 ? I mean you draw a line and the just by clicking something move it to origin dimension. Could you explain that?
I’m not sure if you have pointed me to the correct timespot in the video, as 1:40 shows the different slot types. If you could be so kind to elaborate on your question, I would be glad to explain it to you:)
It`s really great what are you doing here
Glad you think so:)
